This covers all aspects of healthcare delivery and also covers social care, which has a critical role in supporting people to stay active and independent.

Why is physical activity and health linked?

Physical activity has a critical role in preventing and managing long term health conditions. A more active Sheffield would enable people to enjoy more years of life free from pain and disability, and could help people with existing conditions to manage their symptoms.
